The project Weidekleid by designer Bettina Reichl (ODROWĄŻ) is a collection of (a few) individual pieces of pure sheep’s wool, which was created in many hours of handwork, from cleaning the wool to felting the wool fleece and sewing. The process that each individual piece has gone through remains traceable; the name of the sheep is noted on labels, as are the names of the friends who were involved in processing the wool.
The presentation of „Pasture Dress“ in the midst of the exhibition setting of „What Will Be“ incorporates elements of contemporary Japanese Butoh body theater, inspired by hard peasant labor and turning back to the true being of man: a poetic performance that evokes the cycle of life.
