Das Dance On Screen Festival zeigt Tanz-Kurzfilme internationaler Künstler, die die Unmittelbarkeit von Tanz durch die Intimität des Auges der Kamera hervorheben.
Der Untertitel „Mensch und Landschaft im Tanz“ enthüllt das Thema der präsentierten Tanz-Filme. Alle Filme haben gemeinsam, dass sie im Freien gedreht wurden und daher steht die Landschaft im Vordergrund, in die sich der Tanz einfügt. Landschaft ist Bestandteil der Choreographie.
In den Filmen von De-Da Productions (DE), cie La Intrusa/Manfredi Perego (SP/IT), Natalia Sardi/Laida Aldaz (BE), Valentina Moar (AT), cie Zerogrammi (IT) ernährt sich der Tanz aus der Landschaft – und die Landschaft transformiert sich durch den Tanz.

Dance on screen is the first videodance festival in Austria, created in Graz. It is an international dance film festival and includes a range of short films that celebrate the immediacy of dance combined with the intimacy of the camera’s eyes: short films, shown through movement.
Within the Festival program there will be shown films of De-Da Productions (D), cie La Intrusa/Manfredi Perego (SP/IT), Natalia Sardi/Laida Aldaz (B), Valentina Moar (A), cie Zerogrammi (IT).
